Based on the news and sports officials, Philippines has agreed to host the 2019 Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) after Brunei and Vietnam refused to host the said event. However, Philippines is not likely to build new facilities but will use existing arenas, stadiums and hotels like the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and the Philippine Sports Arena owned by Iglesia Ni Kristo in Bulacan.
According to Joey Romasanta, spokesman of the Philippine Olympic Committee they will work to provide the state-of-the-art track oval which will be based in US airbase of Clark, north of Manila.
Great news to our Filipino athletes. They will have bigger chance of getting more golds for the country.
